Judith A. Jarashow is a solo practitioner who has concentrated on estate planning and probate and trust administration since 1985. She began her legal career in 1977 at Southeastern Ohio Legal Services in Chillicothe, Ohio as a poverty lawyer and eventually moved to Boston to work at Greater Boston Legal Services. In the early 1980's Ms. Jarashow enrolled in the tax program at Boston University Law School, from which she received a Masters in Taxation. After graduating from Boston University she began her estate planning practice at Bonin and Zalcman. In 1986 she opened her solo practice.

Ms. Jarashow's clients include individuals, traditional and non-traditional families, small and closely-held businesses, elderly clients, children with special needs, artists, authors, entrepreneurs, teachers, doctors, lawyers and business executives, whose assets range from modest to high net worth. Ms. Jarashow works closely with clients to address their personal and financial goals in a tax-sensitive manner and then prepares the estate plan to implement those goals. Ms. Jarashow probates estates, administers trusts, and prepares fiduciary income tax, gift, and estate tax returns. Upon request Ms. Jarashow will serve as personal representative and trustee. 

Attorney Jarashow has been named as a "Boston Top Rated Lawyer" in the area of estate planning. She served six years as a Hearing Officer for the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers on matters pertaining to attorney discipline.

Ms. Jarashow attended Rutgers University (Douglass College) and received her B.A. in English from the University of Colorado. She graduated from the New England School of Law and received her LLM in taxation from Boston University.

Ms. Jarashow was President from 2015 - 2020 of Jewish Preservation Initiative, a tax exempt organization that raised money for civic groups in Central Europe committed to preserving Jewish monuments and honoring Jewish history in their local towns. She is currently serving as President of the Lakewood Tennis Club, a non-profit that serves primarily Newton residents.
